3 day retreat – 13th – 15th March, Delhi
The stories tell us that in the first times was Art-s-Wath, The Great Forest, the presence of the Great Mother, and when the first man, fears his true nature and runs from the beneficence of the Forest, he falls into a great sleep and dreams of a place apart from the Forest, where he can hide in his forgetful addictions. He believes in this dreaming, that he is no longer in the Forest, safe in his made-up world. And yet he is merely asleep under The Tree. However, this is a deep sleep from which it seems there is no waking from.
Art-s-Wath in her great love for her ‘lost’ child, instructs all her children of the forest, to follow his running footsteps, find him and enter his dream, and in that to guide him to wake, by ending the dream, and return home to her.
They say there are two sets of footprints in the Forest, those of that first man running to his sleep and dream, and those of the forest children running to him, these however face the other way, leading back into the deep, dark, green. These footsteps are called the Warrior’s Footpaths.
The Footpaths of the Warriors are the prints of the healing ceremonies, which guide us home. Healing means to make whole; these footsteps are the actions of those warrior’s who come to remind us to be whole. It is said that a warrior comes not to make war, rather to bring an end to it
The stories tell us that there are three great fears, suffered or taken on by the first man, and all else, all fracture, derives from these three: Fear of being alone, fear of being abandoned, fear of being different.
Footsteps in The Forest, co facilitated by John-Luke & Sushant, is in truth, a Warrior’s song, a song of healing, a song to wake us, a song to bring an end to our fear. The 3 days will have both intensive healing rituals, and an opportunity to learn some basic Sagh’ic healing techniques.
Through 3 days of deepening ceremony, we will be caught up in the song of the warrior, both healed and healing.
Let us be warriors!
